SCOUT LEADER

Hello! My name is Joanna and I am the scout leader. I am also mum to Jack, Harry, Ben and Lottie, who are in the scouts or cubs

At scouts the big word is FUN!

We do canoeing, raft building, bike riding, orienteering, wide games, swimming, rifle shooting, archery, camping, in fact, just about anything!

I got into scouting by mistake. Being blonde, I make, on average, more than most, but this has been one of my better ones. I have tried out new activities, made new friends, and had such a laugh - imagine how much better it is for kids!

Hello! My name is Stuart. I have been involved in scouting for a number of years. I am good at filling in the gaps that the dizzy blond leader leaves out!

ASSISTANT SCOUT LEADER

Hello, I am Timothy Hull (Tim), an eighteen year old Assistant Scout Leader in the 5th Sutton Coldfield east. I Joined the 5th in september 2006 as a Youth Leader and have enjoyed every minute of it since. My life outside of scouts consists mainly of school and my other hobby which is Drama, Which takes place on Sundays at Highbury little theatre. I am currently studying Maths, Physics and Further Maths at A-Level at Bishop Walsh, and next year will (hopefully) be going to the University of Birmingham.

Hi! My name is Chris and I am enjoying being a scout leader. Scouts was always something I fanicied doing as a child but never really had the opportunity, so I am enjoying the experience as an adult leader and getting to try things I haven't done before!

ASSISTANT SCOUT LEADER

Hello! My name is Mike and I am in charge of outdoor activities. I organise the canoeing in the summer months and help out when required on any outdoor events, be it camps or activities such as bike riding, hiking or water sports.

YOUNG LEADERS

From time to time we may have young leaders with the troop. These maybe ex scouts, sixth formers doing their Dof E or ASDAN or just youngsters too old for scouts but wanting to help out and join in the fun.

At the moment we are fortunate to have 2 young leaders, Matthew and Mike
